Career Development: Be Bold, Be Brave Conference

In July Roger Chapman, Head of Service was delighted to be part of this ‘international career development conference’ this leading event attended by hundreds of career development professionals from across the globe.

The event was hosted ‘on-line’ over several days and we were pleased to sponsor a breakout session entitled “Developing enhanced quality within the career development and employability sectors: UK, Ireland and International Perspectives”. During the session Roger was supported by Dr. Siohban Neary, University of Derby who summarised the international research, and David Foster University College Dublin who provided an example of implementing a quality framework within the University.

The matrix Standard showcased how it complimented this good practice and provided a Standard that everyone could use to make Information, Advice and Guidance better.
