An introductory webinar for non-accredited Education, Employability and Training organisations.

Our Head of Service was delighted to be part of this ‘international career development conference’ this leading event attended by hundreds of career development professionals from across the globe. 

The Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) held their Summit 2022 conference on 9th June in the glorious Great Room at the Royal Society for Arts House in London. Alison Denholm, Head of Business Development – matrix Standard attended.

Rachel Smith, Head of Quality at Brook to hear her thoughts on the revised matrix Standard. Having been assessed under the current criteria 3 years ago and most recently assessed under the BETA version of the revised Standard, she has some great insights into the improvements that are being made.

In this article we look at one of these organisations Babington and describe the way in which the delivery of IAG is evolving to unlock the aspirations of learners.  Consideration will be given to what can be learnt from this to support the development of the matrix Standard.  The themes of on-line support, wellbeing and employer involvement will be considered.

The quality of careers support for young people, teachers and parents matters. It matters because people should be able to expect person-centred services that are trustworthy, effective, and responsive to their specific needs. This should be supported by good leadership and sustained by good use of resources.

Today is an international day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all over the world. Significant strides have been made towards equality for women, however there is still more to do and this day is also a call to action to continue to make real change and #BreakTheBias.

This years theme is #BuildTheFuture which will reflect on how apprenticeships can help people to build their skillsets to gain a rewarding career.
