It matters because people should be able to expect person-centred services that are trustworthy, effective, and responsive to their specific needs. This should be supported by good leadership and sustained by good use of resources.

Significant strides have been made towards equality for women, however there is still more to do and this day is also a call to action to continue to make real change and #BreakTheBias.
