Our position

The welfare of our staff, clients and partners is our top priority and we are following the latest Government guidelines to help contain the spread of Coronavirus.

In review of the latest Government advice, we have adapted our approach to delivering our services. While we will still continue to deliver a range of activity via telephone, email and video conferencing to support our clients, we have implemented the following changes to face-to-face delivery.

We are proactively considering the impacts on our daily operations and encourage you to consider your own business planning in light of unfolding events.

Our members of staff are fully agile meaning we are still here to help virtually.

matrix Standard Assessments

Wherever possible, your organisation will be keen to try and continue as close to business as usual as possible. We’re the same for our accreditations.

We conduct matrix Standard assessments using interviews and observations. While interviews have traditionally been in person, in the current situation, your matrix Standard Practitioner can use other methods to speak with your people and your clients individually and in groups. There are lots of options available to us including Skype, Zoom or even the telephone. Or, if you have another platform in place already – your Practitioner will be more than happy to use it.

Your matrix Practitioner is also able to adjust the composition and number of people they speak to – allowing assessments to go ahead with the staff and clients who are available whilst maintaining the robustness of your assessment.

The annual matrix Continuous Improvement Checks will continue to be delivered virtually, and we are actively scheduling these during a convenient time for those organisations who are due one.

Where the current situation means that your organisation will not be able to complete a matrix Review Assessment on time, even with the use of virtual methods mentioned above, please let your matrix Practitioner know. They will be able to work with you and us to ensure that we reschedule your review for a time when we are clearer on government guidance.
