National Careers Service and the matrix Standard
The National Careers Service is one of the first organisations of its kind to have its online careers advice and guidance accredited against the matrix Standard.
The Assessor highlighted a number of strengths including the extensive, well-managed website offer and the impartiality of the service.
The matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. Designed to promote continuous improvement, matrix quality assures delivery through the established face-to-face and telephone approaches; but in line with modern technology can be equally well applied to the latest web and other digital routes.
With a focus on service delivery, effective management, continous improvement and staff competence, the matrix Standard is a prestigious way to validate the delivery of Information, Advice and Guidance even through unmediated digital routes.
